SportXFan was founded out of frustration. The modern sports broadcast treats the viewer like an idiot. They feed you meaningless counting stats, cliché narratives, and manufactured drama. They tell you a player "wanted it more" rather than explaining how a defensive scheme forced a lower Expected Value shot profile.

Our Methodology

We strip away the noise. We believe in rigorous analytics, brutal honesty, and the strategic deep dives that television networks refuse to air. If we publish a stat, we publish the formula alongside it so you can verify the math yourself.

We rely on open-source datasets (like MLB's Lahman Database and nflfastR) alongside proprietary scraping models. We do not use generative AI to write our analyses. Every piece is written by human analysts who understand the nuance between a spreadsheet and the reality of the game.
